Just Another Sonnet Sunday; Long Road

As one walks along the cluttered road

Take the time to earnestly consider

What you convey is not a heavy load

All one needs is enough for the next dinner

To not impose a burden on others

Only little for others to revive

Not all in need are truly our brothers

Good words may only be needed to survive.

To help others laden along the way

Don’t allow anything stand impeded

Nor allow yourself to wander astray

A road traveled, ne’er repeated

The distance which can’t be defined

Tis a long journey only called mine
